| MANCHESTER, New Hampshire - Jim Merrill, managing director of Devine Strategies, the strategic consulting subsidiary of the Devine Millimet law firm, was recently named by Business NH magazine as one of “25 Leaders for the Future.” In its January issue, the magazine recognized 25 New Hampshire residents who are expected to be prominent and influential Granite State leaders over the next 25 years.
The nomination process included questions about leadership, community involvement, and business involvement. The judges looked for individuals who had demonstrated leadership in the state and are dedicated to fulfilling that role in the future. A reception is planned on February 25 at Grappone Ford in Bow from 5 to 7 p.m. to honor the leaders.
Jim was singled out for his political activities, including management of President George W. Bush’s successful 2000 general election campaign in New Hampshire and as legal counsel to the New Hampshire GOP. He was also noted for his community service, as a board member of Easter Seals where he is chairing the 2009 VIP fundraising campaign.
As managing director of Devine Strategies, he uses his background in real estate, law, and politics to help private and nonprofit clients with strategic planning, media and marketing campaigns, and business networking opportunities.
The magazine notes, “His motto, whether related to his political, professional, or personal involvement is simple: Do good while doing well.”
Established in 1947, Devine Millimet has grown to its present status as one of the largest business and litigation law firms north of Boston with offices strategically located in Manchester, Concord and North Hampton, NH, and in Andover, MA.
